Starting out with a good quality instrument is very important.  It will be easier play.  Your child will make better progress. 

Oh, how many times have I heard “we will buy a cheap one at first, then if he/she does well we’ll get a good one…”  oh gosh…  please no!    No one would send their youngster out on to the football pitch wearing a pair of flip-flops  – they’ll just not be able to play….
