Our top of the range LX model is made from acoustically annealed phosphor bronze and features a new thin wall body tube which is super resonant.
Light under your fingers despite the instruments size this baritone is responsive and easy to play throughout the registers with a big punchy sound right down to the basement.
We set out to improve upon the old SB8 in sound as well as feel when designing our new baritones; famous top names such as Dave O’Higgins and Allon Beauvoisin owned and played on our baritones and they have always had a good reputation but there is no doubting that our latest editions, the all new LX and series VIII are the best we’ve ever made.
