The first time we had a visit from Hiscox cases to show us how great they are the man simply arrived at our office and without a word began to leap up and down upon his instrument case to demonstrate just how strong it was. Well, that made an impression – but not upon the instrument inside the case!
If you intend travelling with your sax and especially if it’s likely to be going ‘in the hold’ then this is the case for you – I wouldn’t trust my instrument inside anything else.
Beautifully styled and incredibly rugged with padded crushed velour interior and integral accessory compartment to take the Crook/Mouthpiece assembled.
The outer shell on this model is 30% thicker than original ‘Liteflite’ giving approximately double resistance to impact and puncture. The interior is made and moulded as part of the shell and is incredibly strong.
In our opinion this is the best case you can put your instrument inside. It’s not the fanciest to look at, not flashy in any way – just the best. Oh, and it’s entirely made in England.
