‘Parlour’ guitars have a smaller sized body with a full scale neck – we have found them to be especially popular with ladies (though it doesn’t proclude the men of course!). Ideal for players who prefer a neater sized guitar body.
The tone is nicely focused and the scale is full size so this is a real players instrument and it feels ‘right’. We bespoke hand-finish the neck in our Marsden workshop, planing it to a wonderfully slender profile so that our Luna parlour guitar has a superb feel and action.
The Luna Gypsy Parlour features a clear gloss finished body with a select spruce top over mahogany back and sides and has a built in tuner for ease of use.
Luna’s specially designed neck profile insures a comfortable playing experience that puts challenging notes and chords within easy reach. Luna’s exclusive inlaid moon phase fretboard markers trace the length of the rosewood fret board. Around the soundhole is a crescent-shaped Celtic knotwork design…intricate, circular, at once both ancient and contemporary.
