The Preference 3055 Baritone Horn from York is a a 3-valve compensating, professional model instrument. It offers excellent playing comfort, wonderful intonation throughout the range and a big sound projection. This instrument will instantly improve the performance of any individual and will make a great contribution to any ensemble it is played in. It also features a .547-inch bore, a 9.49-inch bell and a lovely silver plated finish. The preference 3055 is almost identical to a Sovereign as the parts were manufactured in the same factory.
York are no longer producing any instruments as they were bought out by Besson and then the instruments were discontinued. However, a lot of top brass bands have used York instrument in the past before they were discontinued including Black Dyke and Cory, so you can be sure to expect a top class instrument.
