Featuring the same new thin wall body tube as used on the LX model, which is super resonant and gives an incredible bark of a sound and the whole tube is acoustically annealed, (not just the bell as on most baritones). The sound is huge.
We set out to improve upon the old SB8 in sound as well as feel when designing our new baritones; famous top names such as Dave O’Higgins and Allon Beauvoisin owned and played on our baritones and they have always had a good reputation but there is no doubting that our latest editions, the all new LX and series VIII are the best we’ve ever made.
Finished in hand rubbed raw brass. Pictured below with stove baked lacquered keywork.
